Canada Career Month

Holland College is celebrating Canada Career Month throughout November.

Canada Career Month is a national initiative that celebrates and creates awareness about career development and the importance of accessing meaningful work. The theme is AMPLIFY, which speaks to the benefits and opportunities of amplifying career services, skills, connections, and yourself. To learn more about these topics, check out the .

In-person and virtual events will take place across Holland College locations throughout the month. There are opportunities to connect with employers and career development resources, workshops that will help you sharpen your skills and prepare for the workplace, and fun games and activities that celebrate all things career.  Emily MacIsaac from the PWC Regis and Joan Duffy Library and Haley Doherty from the Office of Retention & Part-Time Studies are teaming up to host a resume drop-in event for students!  Students are welcome to bring a printed or digital version of their resume for quick yet effective feedback from Emily or Haley. The goal is to empower students to strengthen their resumes and boost their chances of landing a job! This first-come, first-served event will run from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM on November 17 at the PWC Library.
